Cook, Polly Krats deep appreciation for straight forward cooking has developed from a young age, growing up in the potato fields of Lincolnshire where she was exposed to a variety of foods that would fuel her lifelong passion for cooking. She began her culinary career at the age of 14 working in the kitchens at a well-known Lincolnshire Village Pub owned by her family. At age 18 Polly moved to the family business in Portugal, Cornwall and eventually back to her roots in Lincolnshire.

After 4 years under the tutelage of her family, Polly spent time running the village pub, eventually landing the role of boss-lady.

After returning to Lincolnshire Polly has concentrated on good wholesome straight forward cooking and tending to her allotment.





Polly was busy finalising her, ‘Polly Put The Kettle On’ menu-card book and has just winterised the allotment ready for the forthcoming season.
